With the Thanksgiving weekend upon us, I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and happy long weekend. To all my family, friends, and supporters, thank you for your kindness and support during this campaign. To all my new friends who I’ve met over these past couple of months on the campaign trail, I am in gratitude to you and your family. Thank you for sharing your stories with me and for your gracious offers of support. Thunder Bay is full of amazing people who truly have passion for our community, our children’s education, and the safety & inclusion of our children at our educational facilities.
Thunder Bay and Area Food Strategy : School Food Environments Trustee Candidate Survey
The Thunder Bay and Area Food Strategy sent a survey to all candidates in the upcoming municipal elections, with questions regarding their commitment to improving access to healthy food for all, protecting food producing areas, and supporting food and farm businesses.
The Thunder Bay and Area Food Strategy is non-partisan. Candidates were required to complete each response by a firm deadline and limit their responses to 450 characters.
Election Day is only 20 days away! And online polls open even sooner on the 9th of October.
I was out and about this evening placing a few more signs. If you wish to help show your support, I have a few more lawn signs remaining. Thank you to everyone who has graciously placed one in their yards. Much appreciated!
On Election day I ask you to elect a trustee who reflects your family’s needs and will bring a fresh perspective to the table. I believe I can relate to the daily concerns of families with young children and will seek to learn from yours. Let’s starting working together for our children’s future. I’d be honoured to have your support on Election Day.
