Thank you!

I am humbled and honoured by the results of the Election. Thank you for your support and I look forward to serving you and your family at the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board. I have already exchanged emails and had a telephone conversation with other Trustees this morning. I look forward to working with them and with the community. Together we can do wonderful things. I am blessed and thankful for this opportunity. Thank you for your vote of confidence. Now, lets get down to work 🙂

Also thank you to my family and my friends for their support during the campaign.

Giving Thanks

With the Thanksgiving weekend upon us, I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and happy long weekend. To all my family, friends, and supporters, thank you for your kindness and support during this campaign. To all my new friends who I’ve met over these past couple of months on the campaign trail, I am in gratitude to you and your family. Thank you for sharing your stories with me and for your gracious offers of support. Thunder Bay is full of amazing people who truly have passion for our community, our children’s education, and the safety & inclusion of our children at our educational facilities.

20 Days to Election Day!

Election Day is only 20 days away! And online polls open even sooner on the 9th of October.

I was out and about this evening placing a few more signs. If you wish to help show your support, I have a few more lawn signs remaining. Thank you to everyone who has graciously placed one in their yards. Much appreciated!

On Election day I ask you to elect a trustee who reflects your family’s needs and will bring a fresh perspective to the table. I believe I can relate to the daily concerns of families with young children and will seek to learn from yours. Let’s starting working together for our children’s future. I’d be honoured to have your support on Election Day.

Transparency on the School Board Survey from the Thunder Bay & District Labour Council

In full transparency, on September 14th I responded to a School Board Survey from the Thunder Bay & District Labour Council and also posted my answers on my campaign website at that time. Open communication is part of my campaign platform and I wanted to share this with you.

I learned from a young age that it is the job of a candidate and elected official to represent others and that not of their own personal interest. That said, I am still seeking further input from parents and community members to form solid responses as based on their needs on many issues. I am committed to working together for our children’s future and would be honoured to have your support on election day.

Lawn Signs

Another great night on the campaign trail dropping off lawn signs. My campaign manager Miss Emmy didn’t last the whole night and drifted off early on me. She is a trooper for coming along with me on this journey when Mom is busy working at the theatre in the evening.

28 Days & Counting…

I still have some campaign lawn signs available. Thank you to everyone who offered to take one to show your support. It is greatly appreciated. Message me if you would like to display one on your lawn and thank you again and in advance for your support. Election Day is quickly approaching – only 28 days away! Together we can make this happen!

Online and telephone voting begins on Oct. 9th at 10 am, and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week until voting closes at 8 pm on Election Day – October 22, 2018.

Rain or Shine!

Rain or shine the work continues on the campaign trail for Trustee of the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board. My campaign manager (Miss Emmy, as seen in the top image) supervised my work this evening. She enjoyed pointing out all the different colours on the election signs.

Placing lawn signs…

On the campaign trail tonight and placing some lawn signs on supporter’s lawns. Still more to drop off and thank you to everyone who has graciously offered to take one… I will see you soon if I haven’t got one yet.

Please let me know if you wish to have a lawn sign to show your support and that of Catholic education in Thunder Bay.

This past week many parents have shared some touching stories with me. I promise to represent you and your children’s concerns and ensure you all have a voice at the table.
