What matters to me.

Our schools should help every student learn, grow and feel that they belong. These are the priorities I will continue bringing to the board table.

Student Achievement

Supporting strong learning opportunities while recognizing that students succeed in different ways and may need different kinds of support.

Well-being and Mental Health

Keeping student safety, well-being and access to meaningful mental-health supports central to our decisions.

Safe, Inclusive Schools

Making sure students feel welcomed, respected and valued for who they are in every school and every classroom.

Listening and Communication

Being accessible to students, families and staff, communicating clearly and bringing community concerns to the board table.

Indigenous Learning

Supporting meaningful learning, stronger relationships and the continued work of truth and reconciliation in our schools.

Arts and Extracurricular Opportunities

Supporting arts, athletics, clubs and other extracurricular activities that give students more ways to participate, build confidence and discover where they belong. These opportunities are not extras — they are an important part of a student's education, well-being and connection to their school community.

"Being a Trustee is about listening, asking questions and making decisions that may not always be easy. Above all, it means remembering who those decisions are for."
